Prison Fellowship Angel Tree is partnering with Lake Lavon Camp to offer scholarships that allow your child to attend camp completely free of charge! Any child who has received a Christmas gift from an incarcerated parent through Angel Tree is eligible for a full scholarship to Lake Lavon Camp. Currently, qualifying children between the grades 3rd-12th can receive one summer camp scholarship each year. Additionally, if a child is currently living in a household with an Angel Tree child, or child of an incarcerated parent, they are also able to receive an Angel Tree scholarship. Every camp at Lake Lavon Camp is centered on a Christ-focused experience, incorporating Gospel messages and Bible teachings. A trained camp counselor will guide your child throughout their time at camp, ensuring a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Campers will stay in dorms with others of the same gender, build meaningful friendships, learn valuable life lessons, and participate in exciting activities.

For Church Leaders: If you have a student who qualifies for an Angel Tree scholarship, they can use it to attend your session at Lake Lavon Camp—not just the specific camp dates provided for Angel Tree Camps. You will be responsible for event coordination and supervision, just as you are with your other students.

Camp Dates:

Preteen Camp: 3rd-6th Grade: July 28-31
Youth Camp: 6th-12th Grade: July 1-5

The Camp Experience

Lodging: Your camper will be staying in our comfortable dorms. They will need to bring their own bedding or sleeping bag to camp. Dorm lodging is separated by gender and supervised by adult counselors that have undergone comprehensive background checks.

Meals: All three meals will be provided at our camp Dining Hall; we serve delicious, youth-friendly food like pizza, hamburgers, and chicken tenders. Our food is highly rated, and we offer alternatives for gluten-free individuals. Campers will also have the opportunity to purchase snacks and specialty drinks at our coffee shop and concession stand.

Activities: One thing’s for sure—your camper will have non-stop fun and excitement throughout their stay at camp! With a wide variety of activities like zip-lining through the summer breeze, thrilling gel-blaster battles, go-kart races, precision-testing archery, and splashing around on banana boats, there’s never a dull moment. Every day is packed with adventure, ensuring campers stay engaged, active, and making unforgettable memories.

Worship Services: Christ is at the heart of everything we do at camp. Each day, campers will engage in worship sessions filled with Bible-based, Christ-centered teaching. Following worship, they’ll join small group discussions led by their counselor, providing a chance to dive deeper into the lessons, ask questions, and reflect on what they’ve learned.

In addition, we offer AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions after lunch—an open forum where campers can explore topics they may not fully understand about God. These sessions are led by spiritually mature, vetted adults who provide thoughtful, biblically grounded answers. To encourage honesty and curiosity, all camper-submitted questions remain anonymous.
