1951 Initiative

Celebrating an inspiring legacy of Kingdom building.
In 1949, visionaries stood amidst a North Texas corn field and received an inspiration of transformation. The farmland was to become a lakefront property when Lake Lavon was created in Collin County. The faithful committed to creating a place that would transform generations for decades. They simply stated “Imagine what work could be done for the Lord through a camp in this location.”
The first camp on these grounds took place in 1951.

I have personally been blessed to hear stories from all over the state of Texas from individuals that made life-changing decisions and commitments at Lake Lavon Camp.

This year we will celebrate 70 years of this camps beautiful legacy.
In honor of these faithful believers and the thousands of lives changed through this ministry, we would like to celebrate 70 years of rich legacy that is Lake Lavon Camp! We want this celebration to launch us into the next 70 years of ministry.

During 2020, we are launched our 1951 initiative. The 1951 Initiative will raise funds for facility improvements and scholarships. Our goal is to have 1,951 families and friends join us through our 1951 initiative fund.

We pray that you will join us to ensure this great legacy of transformation will continue to  impact generations for many years.
